Looking for something new to listen to? Love the rock vibe but also love K-pop? It might be time to give Dragon Pony a listen.
Dragon Pony is currently a three-member boy band featuring An Taegyu, Kwon Sehyuk, and Ko Ganghun. The band originally debuted in September 2024 with their first EP, POP UP. Although they’re still pretty early into their career, I have to say they have a very promising sound. As someone who listens to pretty much everything, I really think they might have a solid vibe going for them.
If you’re someone who’s into groups like Xdinary Heroes and can’t be blue, or releases like “Hold My Hand” from Stray Kids’ HAN, and you’re looking for something around that sound, you might want to take a look.
They bring a mixture of softer tracks and more upbeat, punchier ones, depending on what you’re looking for. However, in my personal opinion, the top three tracks I would definitely recommend checking out are “Oh Perfect!” from their EP RUN RUN RUN, and “Waste” and “To. Nosy Boy” from Not Out.
I’m an absolute sucker for pop-rock, modern rock, and alternative-rock vibes, which is exactly the kind of sound Dragon Pony brings out. And if you ask me, their tracks lowkey give main-character vibes too, especially if you’re searching for that kind of fall vibe this season.
So if your playlist has been feeling a little too familiar lately, maybe it’s time to give Dragon Pony a listen.
