Wonho made his solo debut on September 4 with the mini-album Part.1 Love Synonym. The strong debut featured some of his all-time hits, including “Losing You,” which has gained over 42 million streams on Spotify, and “Open Minded,” with 27 million views on YouTube and 23 million Spotify streams. However, this wasn’t the beginning of Wonho’s career—before his solo debut, he was part of the K-Pop boy group MONSTA X, where he joined as the fifth member after appearing on the TV show No Mercy.

Since his debut, Wonho has captivated fans with his stage presence, charisma, vocals, and performances. His music spans a variety of genres, from American pop to songs that blend Korean and English. His tracks range from upbeat pop anthems to heartfelt ballads that explore themes of heartbreak, love, and the excitement of meeting someone new.

After completing his mandatory military service—a requirement for all physically fit South Korean men, typically lasting 18-21 months—Wonho was discharged on September 4, the same day as his 4th anniversary as a solo artist. To celebrate, he reunited with his fans, WENEEs, through a special live broadcast. Since then, he’s been busy releasing an OST for the Korean drama My Military Valentine and the all-English single “What Would You Do.”
